Credentials
Amazon
Sr. UX Designer: 2013 – 2025
For nearly 12 years I led UX across five Amazon organizations. My work spans both B2C and B2B products, from cloud storage and advertiser tools to fashion and emerging shopping experiences. I presented designs directly to Jeff Bezos and the NFL. Along the way I mentored designers and helped shape Amazon's design culture.
-
Led UX for Amazon Haul, a new social shopping experience launched in under three months. Designed the Amazon Fan Shop in collaboration with the Prime Team and presented directly to the NFL. Directed UX for Resale Clothing (“Used” Tab), Amazon’s sustainability initiative now live on product detail pages.
-
Improved advertiser workflows through major Ads Console enhancements and launched key flows for the mobile Ads app. Strengthened Amazon’s B2B design systems and unified experiences across platforms.
-
Redesigned Cart and Checkout, driving millions in added revenue and improved conversion. Contributed to the Amazon UI Kit, ran UX office hours, and led design for Amazon Finds, a simplified shopping experience presented to and collaborated directly with Jeff Bezos.
-
Redesigned the AWS homepage to simplify product discovery for a global B2B audience and introduced scalable content structures still used today.
-
Launched Amazon Photos, a flagship Prime benefit still used by millions. Improved purchase flows and pricing clarity, collaborating with Prime and Marketing to ensure a successful launch.
-
Over 12 years I mentored over a dozen designers across Amazon UX, directly supporting 3 of their promotions. In 2016 I saw a call for help on the Women@Amazon email list and volunteered my own time to design their logo. The logo is still in use today by one of Amazon's largest and most globally expanded employee communities. I also represented Amazon Design at Lesbians Who Tech for four consecutive years, hiring two designers and connecting countless engineering candidates with recruiters.

Before Amazon: 2003-2013
Starting in print and editorial design in 2003, I spent the early part of my career designing for newspapers and publishers on the Olympic Peninsula. As the industry shifted digital, I moved with it. By 2008 I was designing corporate websites and digital brand identities at Coldwell Banker Bain.
In 2010 I joined Peak Systems as a UI Designer, designing the UI kit for Diptic, one of the first photo-stitching apps on the App Store. In 2011 I moved to AT&T as a Sr. Visual and Interactive Designer, where I designed and launched AT&T Locker, a flagship Android app preinstalled on AT&T devices. I built UI kits and reusable design standards adopted across multiple Android applications and led user research for a proposed app marketplace.
In 2013 Amazon called.
